Celestyal Cruises continues to closely monitor developments in the Middle East, maintaining regular contact with local authorities in the region to ensure the safety of its passengers and crew.

Passenger Disembarkation Underway

All passengers aboard the Celestyal Discovery have safely disembarked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to disembark the remaining passengers from the Celestyal Journey, currently docked in Doha, Qatar, within the next 24 hours.

Ships Remain Operational

Both vessels remain fully operational and ready to sail. Their departure from the region will be coordinated in accordance with guidance from relevant maritime and governmental authorities.

Voyage Cancellations and Passenger Options

In light of the current situation, Celestyal has canceled two scheduled short-haul cruises — the 3- and 4-night ‘Images of the Aegean’ itineraries departing on 20 and 23 March, respectively, operated by the Celestyal Discovery. Operational adjustments have been completed to reposition the vessel back to the Mediterranean ahead of the summer season.

Passengers who booked these voyages will be offered a choice between a full refund or a future cruise credit.

Celestyal Cruises remains committed to resuming its scheduled operations as soon as possible and continues to assess the situation closely.
