CEE AEC: “Unimaginable disrespect against our team, it’s time for professional arbitration in basketball in football standards”

The CDE issued a statement expressing its complaints about Vasso Tsarouha in defeating the “yellow blacks” against Prometheus, with the Union emphasising that Greek basketball must follow the steps of football in the referees’ section. The AEK passed in counterattack and with a long announcement is placed on the arbitration in Patras, in the defeat of the “yellow blacks” by Prometheus, in an epic game with many interruptions. The AEK organization, especially in the context of the 100 years of our Association’s birth, gave priority to the promotion of all those values, which represent the ideals of our founders, and social and cultural actions starring man, children, family, are still a priority. And they must be a priority for each Association, as the “rival” and the noble rivalry are necessary conditions in healthy sport. But no more! We regret to see that some people show inconceivable disrespect against our group, putting even deeper the knife in the wound of a wounded Championship, which the AEK in cooperation with other willing CEEs can first improve its conditions. In another encounter of “D. Tofalos”, it is self-evident, and it was seen by all the fans of Greece, there was a sharp – for the time-changing result. All of Greece saw the disrespect against the fans of our group, who were provoked by what was unthinkable happened on the field and by order of those who took the role of “star” in the race, were expelled from the stadium, and even violently due to the incomprehensible and uncoordinated evacuation operation on the part of the police. All of Greece saw the disrespect against the title coach, with the huge offer to our team as well as to the whole of Greek and European basketball, who was expelled, because he did his cross not believing in what he saw and because those who took a role as a “star” in the race, when he asked for clarifications in their decisions – as they ought to – answered “I don’t listen to you, I don’t see you”! All of Greece saw the disrespect against our leading athlete, co-pilot of our Group and leader of the National Lithuania, with the huge march in the NBA and other leading Championships, an athlete-cosm, as they have written since yesterday and the Media, which they have not hesitated to expel (for “theatrical”! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LABORATORY CARRY, charging him with three fouls in three consecutive phases! The management of the AEK has been in a ” ongoing” structural process of strengthening the Organization and also exploiting the Olympic facility, having sponsored colossus partners in their field and will defend its interests in every legal way. Some insist for their own reasons to attack us fiercely, but we are not afraid, we are not afraid. And most importantly… As we’ve written before, we’re not jumpers. We will fight to the end! For our people, for our team, for our history! The AEK took initiatives in the summer, along with other CDEs, towards improving the Championship conditions, targeting the implementation of the Salary Cap. In this direction, it will continue to move in order to rescue what is being rescued with other initiatives. Prosera, after yesterday’s “black night” of Patras, we believe that the time has come for arbitration to become professional, as we have been shouting for years, and we know that there are “necessary ears” within the co-operative of the GBL teams. And because the existing mode of operation of the CED/EEC does not allow the development of referees and does not favour the upgrading of basketball, it is a one-way street to hire a foreign archbishop – from an advanced basketball country – according to the standards of its model (football) Super League.
