In personal revelations about the #MeToo movement, journalist Nancee Paradisanou proceeded with Caterina Geroukolou and her partner Giannis Tsimitselis on her YouTube channel. Regarding the accusation she made earlier in 2021 — where actress Caterina Geroukolou publicly accused George Kimoulis of workplace harassment via social media — Geroukolou stated: “I thought about it in solidarity. It was a one-hour decision, so it could have been impulsive, or it could have been after some thought.” She continued, “After deciding within an hour, I wrote a statement, read it to Giannis, and told him this is going up now. I simply posted it. It wasn’t a retaliatory move; it was recognizing what happened to someone else at another time, in another play…” Additionally, she mentioned, “It happened to me at another moment, in another production. Ultimately, documents gathered by SEH confirmed that this was repeated behavior. For me, all these are opportunities to fight something bigger than just individuals.” On her relationship with Giannis Tsimitselis, she said, “He’s more organized, and we’ve adjusted to that. We never argue about our evening plans. We don’t hang out with people we dislike. We like and dislike the same things. Even though we’re different, I think this common ground shows we fit well together. We’re approaching eight years, and I consider these past eight years as a lifetime. It’s a massive period of my life, very significant and beautiful. He helps me professionally; we’re a team, bound together.” The actress also touched on the possibility of becoming a mother. “I don’t rule it out. I love children dearly. I leave it open as a possibility,” Caterina Geroukolou replied.
