Car Catches Fire on Marathon Avenue in Nea Makri: Strong Forces Respond

A car quickly caught and was enveloped in flames on Marathon Avenue in Nea Makri on Saturday evening (26/04/2025). Despite the immediate response of the fire department, which rushed to the scene, the vehicle sustained significant damage. Six firefighters and two vehicles arrived at the site and brought the fire under full control before it could spread to other vehicles or nearby buildings.
