An accident occurred early Thursday afternoon (03.04.2025) outside the Panathinaiko Stadium, causing the left lane of Vasileos Konstantinou Street (towards Sygrou) to be closed. The vehicle crash happened when a delivery driver lost control of his vehicle, which slid under an oncoming car due to heavy traffic and slippery road conditions. Nearby drivers quickly rushed to help the trapped driver, who fortunately sustained only minor injuries. Due to the accident, there was significant traffic congestion in the area heading towards Sygrou Avenue.
