Caesarea: Video – Documentary of a Bakery Owner’s Brave Stand Against Armed Robbers

A bakery owner in Caesarea faced off against two armed robbers in an intense confrontation captured on video. The 67-year-old man attempted to protect his earnings, risking his life in the process. As shown in the footage obtained by MEGA, the two armed robbers, wearing full-face hoods, stormed into the bakery. One of the criminals headed towards the cash register while the other pointed a gun at the 67-year-old baker who tried to stop them. Yelling and protesting, the owner did not back down. He grabbed a broom and confronted the armed intruder, who shoved him forcefully as his accomplice struck him on the head with the gun. Despite the odds, the bakery owner continued to resist. Meanwhile, the first robber climbed onto the counter and emptied the cash register. The owner’s daughter recounted the harrowing experience her father endured: ‘They were two young guys around 19 to 23 years old… Nine past ten, they entered shouting robbery and threw the machine down. One had a pistol, the other a knife. They took the money and fled without fear.’ Police believe the perpetrators had been surveilling the business for an hour, waiting for the right moment to strike. Ten minutes before the robbery, they saw the owner’s wife leave the store, knowing he was alone inside. Authorities suggest the movements of the robbers indicate prior experience in such attacks. Wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints, their operation lasted merely 30 seconds. After stealing the day’s earnings, the two criminals fled unchallenged as the 67-year-old called the police to report the robbery.
