The Hellenic Cadastral Registry has extended the public display period for cadastral maps and tables in the regional units of Heraklion and Chania (Crete Region) and Lesvos and Limnos (North Aegean Region). The deadline for submitting correction requests against the provisional cadastral maps and tables is now extended until Monday, August 3, 2026.
Digital Process, No In-Person Visit Required
The public display process is conducted entirely online — citizens are not required to visit a Cadastral Office in person. Property owners are advised to first update their contact details on the official website www.ktimatologio.gr. Once updated, they can review, confirm, or correct the registration of their property digitally — helping avoid costly, time-consuming, and stressful court proceedings.
What to Check During Public Display
Owners should carefully review the following:
- The description and legal information of their properties (Cadastral Table)
- The boundaries of their plots (Cadastral Map)
If the displayed information matches their records, no further action is needed. If discrepancies are found, owners may submit a digital correction request via www.ktimatologio.gr or, by appointment, at a local Cadastral Office.
Legal Implications Upon Publication
From the start of the public display period, provisions of Article 5 of Law 2308/1995 enter into force. These govern the drafting of deeds, judicial proceedings, and the registration of any act at the Land Registry.
