A shocking head-on collision between two OASA buses in Voula has left 47 people injured. Among them, 13 remain hospitalized across four hospitals in Attica. The accident occurred just before 11:30 AM on Friday (July 4, 2025), on Karamanlis Avenue at the First Beach of Voula along the coastal road. Immediately after the crash, emergency services were alerted, including EKAB (National Emergency Service), police, and fire department units, which responded swiftly to transport the injured to local hospitals.
Between 11:45 AM and 12:55 PM, a total of 41 individuals arrived at the Asclepieion of Voula hospital — some by vehicle, others on foot — to be examined by medical staff. Notably, EKAB mobilized with 11 ambulances, including three mobile medical units and two rapid response motorcycles.
According to latest updates released Friday evening, the following patients remain hospitalized for treatment:
– 6 children at the ‘Pediatriko’ (Children’s) Hospital,
– 2 individuals at the ‘Gennimatas’ Hospital, including the bus driver,
– 3 individuals at the Asclepieion Hospital,
– 2 individuals at the KAT Hospital, including a 38-year-old woman with multiple injuries who is now out of danger.
