Bus Catches Fire in Pendeli – Driver Hospitalized with Respiratory Issues

A disturbance occurred early Saturday morning (15.03.2025) when a fire broke out on a bus. The fire erupted inside the bus located at the Heroes of Polytechnic and National Resistance Square in Pendeli. At around 8 a.m., the Fire Brigade was alerted about the incident, promptly dispatching forces to the scene. Using three vehicles and eight firefighters, they quickly brought the fire under control. Reports indicate that the bus driver was hospitalized due to respiratory problems. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries among passengers. As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
