Bukayo Saka could make his much-anticipated return to competitive action against Fulham in tomorrow’s (01.04.2025) Premier League match following his recovery from a hamstring injury. Saka has been out of action since December, but according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, his return is imminent. ‘Saka is ready. Everything has been carefully prepared. Now it’s just about putting him on the pitch at the right time. But he’s eager because he really wants this. Bukayo is a massive asset we have. We know the impact he has on the team and how crucial his role and contribution are to our success. It’s fantastic to have him back,’ said the Spanish coach about the 23-year-old English international forward. Arsenal, trailing the leading Liverpool by 12 points with nine games remaining, will host Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semifinals next week. ‘It’s the energy he brings (Saka). He’s missed what he loves most in life – being around the team, playing, training, and competing at the highest level,’ added Arteta. ‘The fact that he can come back during the most important part of the season is a huge boost for him and the team as well.’
