Brutal fight in Amaliada: Woman stabbed with scissors and hospitalized

Shocking scenes unfolded on Thursday afternoon (03/07/2025) in Amaliada, as two women got into a violent confrontation on the street, leaving one injured with a stab wound to the back. According to PatrisNews, the incident began when the two women started arguing on a road in the town. Within seconds, one of them pulled out a pair of scissors and began chasing the other furiously in front of shocked bystanders. The young woman, terrified, ran for safety and entered a shop seeking help. However, the aggressor stormed inside, grabbed her, attempted to cut her hair, and then stabbed her in the back with the scissors. Witnesses called the police immediately. Upon hearing sirens, the suspect fled, but officers from the Hellenic Police pursued and eventually arrested her. The injured woman was rushed to Amaliada General Hospital.
