Britain: Starmer government has deported 16,400 immigrants within six months

The has deported 16,400 irregulars in the last semester, which is the largest percentage since 2018. The British government is also planning a new sanctions regime against the heads of traffickers who promote tens of thousands of immigrants in the United Kingdom every year. In 2024 more than 36,800 irregular immigrants arrived in Britain, a figure representing an increase of 25% compared to the previous year, while dozens of people found death in the Channel Sea.
