Brigitte Macron sees no possibility that her husband will abandon politics

The French President’s wife does not see the possibility of leaving politics after leaving the presidency. In an interview with RTL, Brigitte Macron, referring to the political future of Emanuel Macrone said features… “Can we abandon politics? And what politicians do you know who abandoned politics? For me, in the mind of those I know has not expired” ADVERSE However, Macron has not revealed his intentions, she stressed, adding that she hopes “to stop working a little”. “For now he is so busy. I think it takes time to get into a situation, especially after so much adrenaline,” she added to her interview at the opening of an annual charity event. “I think there will be a decompression chamber (…) that will need to stop working for a while to see… She has already written a lot, perhaps one day she will publish them, I don’t know what she will be oriented to,” explained the First Lady of France. CORVERSE “I’d like to stop working for a while, working all the time”. Brigitte Macron said this week in TF1 that the president was sometimes “harmed” by “what she hears” about her and today reverted to the same subject speaking to RTL to discuss her mental state. “I feel he is very hurt,” he said. “Can you imagine the level of violence that exists? The rare times I watch social media, I can’t even imagine people saying such things about people they don’t know anything about, (for individuals) who don’t know about. How do they think they can verbally murder people like that? I don’t get it. And that really gets over me.” Emmanuel Macron, the youngest president of the Republic elected at the age of 39 in 2017 and then re-elected for 5 years in 2022 against far-right leader Marin Lepin, cannot be again nominated in 2027 at the end of this second term. Constitutionally, however, nothing prevents him from claiming a new term after 2032.
