in

Incredible footage from a prison in Brazil shows the moment an inmate was found stuck in a cement wall after an unsuccessful escape attempt that lasted two whole days. The 29-year-old Alan Leandro da Silva spent two days digging a tunnel in his cell to escape. When he tried to pass through, he got stuck—literally. The guards discovered him lodged inside the wall and called the Fire Department to extract him. The video has gone viral, showing the unfortunate escapee helplessly hanging while rescuers used drills to free him. Naked from the waist up, with visible tattoos on his back, the prisoner leaned against a blue chair as the wall tightly gripped around his chest. Authorities are now investigating whether he had accomplices and how exactly he managed to dig the hole without anyone noticing. The firefighters conducted the entire operation carefully to avoid injuring him and eventually succeeded in freeing him safely and unharmed. After receiving first aid on site, the inmate was transferred back to his cell—this time under stricter supervision.
