Thomas Κονσολάκης. Or otherwise, his Eminence Hilarion, president of the “Greek-Russian metropolitan meeting”. The self-called, Metropolitan Hilarion, has forced the archdiocese of Crete to issue an official communication to clarify that the specific type has nothing to do with the official Church and does not represent it.
The reputation of Hilarion spread through Facebook where we publish on a daily basis, photos, videos, and texts. The “father” with the dyed blonde hair and also dyed blonde beard, is photographed with ladies in which he’s preaching, with the faithful gathered round the pool of the “retreat House” in Nea Makri, serves drinks, organizes skits and performances, dances, sings, delivers a political reason, make generally everything. He claims that he is doing miracles and healing the bad psychology, pain, bad mood, and that brings believers closer to God, Drinking sometimes and cocktails, as you’ll see below.

However, what is striking is not so much the appearance and the activity of the so-called representative of the Church, but the believers who listen to him and watching him reverently. From there, after the distances of the official Church, it remains to be seen if this Hilarion has received and sums of money from his followers.
The announcement of the archdiocese of Crete, as published by the candianews.gr:
“In the last few days he has appeared in Heraklion, but also in other areas of the Eastern, mainly Crete, someone daddy of the cloth, who is called “the Metropolitan of Crete, Hilarion, the First, very honorable and exarch of Europe and President of the Greek-Russian Metropolitan Session Europe”.
As the seat of the presents some kind of Retreat “Virgin Healer” in Nea Makri, Attica.
The particular daddy of the cloth conducts meetings in hotels, meeting rooms and private spaces, invites people who have health problems to “crucify” and supposedly to cure them.
This is to inform the pious people of the Archdiocese, that the particular daddy of the cloth is unknown to the Orthodox Church.
Has nothing to do with the Church of Crete, nor with any of the Normal Orthodox Churches around the world, nor is there a Greek-Russian Metropolis of Europe or Greek-Russian Metropolitan Meeting.
For the above reasons, we call for the attention of devout christians to this subject, to be vigilant, to trust only to the Local Orthodox Church and situated in a society with Normal Orthodox Churches”.
