A bookstore window in Thessaloniki is capturing attention and stealing hearts. The inspiration for this final image required three books to create what was envisioned. The result did not go unnoticed. Some are calling it the best bookstore window of all time. Indeed, the images have gone viral. Specifically, the bookstore ‘The Center of the Book’ used humor and wit to play with titles, creating a standout display. They placed two copies of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s classic ‘The Idiot,’ with Thomas Erikson’s ‘Among Idiots’ positioned between them. ‘Is this the best bookstore window of all time? Perhaps it is,’ commented the publishers Dioptra, who shared the controversial photo. The post by the publishers coincides with the visit of best-selling author Thomas Erikson to Athens and Thessaloniki for two lectures. The renowned educator and seminar speaker is coming to meet the Greek audience and share practical insights, statistics, examples, and tools to improve communication. The events will take place on May 8, 2025, at 8:30 PM in Athens at Public Café Syntagma, and on May 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Thessaloniki at Periptero 13, both with free entry.
