Bomb Threat at the Athens Courthouse: Investigation Underway

A new disturbance marked the morning of June 25, 2025, as a bomb threat was reported at the Athens Courthouse. An unknown individual sent an email early in the morning to both media outlets and police services, claiming that a bomb had been placed inside the courthouse. As of now, no roads have been closed, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams have not yet arrived at the courthouse to inspect the area. The source of the email is currently being thoroughly investigated.
