Boeotia: Step-by-step the operation to free the driver after a collision of trucks

A serious traffic accident occurred earlier on Friday (04.07.2025) on the National Road Schimatari – Thebes in Boeotia, involving two large trucks. The crash happened under unclear circumstances when the two vehicles collided head-on while traveling on the road. According to reports from lamiareport.gr, as a result of the violent impact, the driver of one refrigerated truck became trapped inside the cabin. Immediately, passing drivers and police officers rushed to assist, working together to bend the metal sheets and free the driver from his seat. Fortunately, it was reported that he did not suffer any injuries, nor was the driver of the other truck harmed, although there were minor material damages.
