Tragic end in search of our 26 year old who drowned this morning in the channel of the Kifissos river in Boeotia.
According to the story, the young man, at 10:00 on Sunday morning, he had gone along with his uncle fishing in the river Kephisos, to an old dam, which is located near the Stone of Aliartos.
While they were fishing, the 26-year-old decided at some point to dive to make a bathroom. This seems how it was his fatal mistake. His uncle heard him calling once in help and ran to help, but didn’t see him anywhere. The child disappeared like the “drank” to stagnant water.
According to the story, to the point where it’s gone the 26-year-old, there was an old dam in the river, which does not work. The water is stagnant and swampy, while the depth is about 3 meters.

Finally after hours of research divers 1 RESCUE spotted the lifeless body of our 26 year old at the bottom of the channel and recovered.
Recall that in a channel of the Kopais near the Ακραίφνιο Boeotia, had recently been drowned a 41chronos, a father of 5 children, who had gone fishing. Then they say that the 41chronos was drunk and fell into the canal where he was found dead a few days later.
