Blister on the foot: What to do to make it disappear quickly

The new shoes or the long hours of walking can create the ideal conditions to develop a blister in the foot.
In particular, the pressure on the feet or the friction from tight shoes, causing separation of the upper layer of the skin from the lower layers.
This separation creates a blister (blister) fluid of tissues. This liquid functions as a bag and protects it, in some way, the wound. The blister can be painful and can burst, with the risk of infection.
The main way of prevention is to wear closed shoes, the well-known transparent knee-highs.

If, however, you receive the blister, then your options are limited:
– First of all, cover the blister right away once you experience the characteristic pain.
– If you can stand, break the blister with a sterile needle to remove the liquid, and disinfect with alcohol or betadine.
– If you can’t stand this process, you will need to apply the patches for blisters, until it disappeared by itself.
– The patch should be renewed frequently, while it is advisable, when you are home, to let free the wound.
– It is understood that the sea is the best medicine, because, as they say, the older, salt nourishes the wound!
