Biden announced a debt haircut of 4.6 billion euros for Ukraine’s benefit.

Its deletion to the US of 4.65 billion euros the Biden government announced, according to Bloomberg. The deletion of Ukraine’s debt is another move by the Americans to strengthen Kiev’s support before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. The White House will cancel half of a $9 billion loan delivered to Ukraine as part of an additional $60 billion package approved in April. The idea for the loan was first formulated by Trump during the campaign and was a key amendment to the legislation made by the leaders of the Republicans of the House of Representatives, although the government had always marked that part of it would be deleted.
