Belgium: 12-Year-Old Dies After Police Chase

A tragic incident unfolded in Brussels when a 12-year-old riding an electric scooter lost his life on Monday (02/06/2025). According to Belgian media, the boy was dragged by a patrol car during a police chase. The authorities have not disclosed why they were pursuing him. ‘A police vehicle was involved’ in the collision, and ‘a child born in 2013 died,’ stated the Brussels prosecutor’s office without clarifying the exact circumstances of the accident.
