Began the creation of the sculptures at the festival of sand sculptures in Ammoudara

With the completion of the work, formwork, sand, Amoudara, started the renowned sculptors from Greece and Ukraine to painting…impressive sculptures under the sea theme, in the first similar festival in our country.Manolis Χαρκούτσης the Ukrainian university professor of Sculpture Yuriy Mysko and the internationally recognized sculptress Lyudmyla Mysko, presented in place of Xiropotamos – next to the antenna of the ERT – Neptune blowing a boat, a Siren and an octopus.The height of the sculpture reaches 3 meters, the first results will be visible in the next few days and in that time, can those who are interested to see the way in which the sculptors art lover the sand. Also, kids and adults can experiment by creating in the sand of their own sculptures. The entrance for all is free and the whole process of creation will run until 12 August, when it completed the Festival.The Mayor Kostas Μαμουλάκης visited the site, spoke with the sculptors, and in his statements stressed: “The first picture from the top of the sculpture, which slowly begins to be revealed, prepares us for a satisfying result.
