The young Greek football sensation has caught the attention of several European clubs. Bayern Munich is reportedly one of the teams closely monitoring the progress of 17-year-old talent Konstantinos Karetsos. According to Belgian publication HLN, Bayern Munich has included Karetsos on their watch list and even sent a scout to observe him during Genk’s recent match against Union Saint-Gilloise. In that game, which Genk won 2-1, Karetsos played as a starter until being substituted in the 81st minute.

Karetsos joined Genk’s academy at the age of nine and stayed there until 2020 when he moved to Anderlecht. His exceptional performances with Anderlecht led Genk to bring him back in early 2023, where he signed his first professional contract at just 15 years old. Recently, he decided to represent Greece’s national team and has been called up by Ivan Jovanovic for upcoming matches against Scotland in the Conference League playoffs.
