Barbara Taylor Bradford, the great British novelist, died

Barbara Taylor Bradford, the author from her best seller novels, among which was “A Woman of Substance”, died at the age of 91. The author of origin from Leeds to Britain, who sold more than 90 million books, died at her home Sunday (24.11.2024) after a brief illness and was “surrounded by her loved ones to the end”, said her representative. Taylor Bradford, who was often described as “the great lady of the blockbusters” experienced tremendous success when the book “A Woman Of Substance” was released in 1979. The book sold millions of copies and recounted Emma Hart’s route from her life as a maid in rural Yorkshire to the leadership of a business empire. Many other successful books followed with her works translated into more than 40 languages in 90 countries.
