One of the biggest motorsport events of the year will return to Greece this June — the Baja Greece, scheduled for June 4–7, 2026, in Argos Orestiko, located in Western Macedonia. The rally will feature car and SSV (Side-by-Side Vehicle) categories, drawing top international names, rising talents, and experienced crews competing for crucial points toward both the FIA World and European Baja Cups.

A Key Round in Global and National Championships

The event is an official round of the FIA World and European Baja Cups — the premier cross-country rally championships governed by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile. In addition, Baja Greece 2026 counts toward the newly launched Hellenic Motorsport Federation (OMAE) national Cross Country Rally Trophy — a milestone initiative for Greek rally sport in 2026.

Longest Baja in the FIA Series

Centered on Argos Orestiko and extending across the wider regions of Kastoria and Florina, the 2026 edition will feature special stages totaling nearly 600 km, with overall route distances reaching approximately 850 km. This makes it the longest Baja event in the current FIA World and European Cup calendars.

Competitors will tackle demanding terrain across the Vitsi and Grammo mountains, testing speed, precision, and endurance on fast sections and technical passages marked by dramatic elevation changes — all set against landscapes of exceptional natural beauty.

More Than a Race: A Celebration of Sport and Community

Beyond its sporting significance, Baja Greece is also a four-day festival — uniting local communities, motorsport fans, and regional stakeholders in an adrenaline-fueled celebration. Organizers continue to prioritize Greece’s international visibility, highlighting the region’s stunning scenery and warm hospitality while actively supporting the local economy and promoting sustainable motorsport tourism — all in full compliance with FIA environmental standards.
