A no-sail directive has been enforced at the ports of Piraeus, Rafina, and Lavrio due to stormy northern winds reaching up to 9 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea, according to HCMR. The sailing ban does not include closed-type ships operating routes to the islands of the Saronic Gulf. Additionally, the Agia Marina – Nea Stira, Kavala – Prinos, and Kavala – Thasos lines are also suspended. Routes on the Volos – Sporades line will resume operations from 10:00 AM. Passengers planning to travel today should contact local port authorities and travel agencies for possible changes or modifications to routes due to adverse weather conditions.
