A mysterious case has unfolded in Greece involving a four-month-old baby found near trash bins in Alimos. A 43-year-old Roma woman, who claims to be the grandmother of the infant—a girl—reported to police that someone stole the child from her while she was shopping at a store in Omonia. According to her statement, an unknown individual approached her inside the shop and attempted to buy the baby. Instead, the person allegedly snatched the child and fled. Authorities are now investigating the peculiar case as the baby was later discovered around 5 PM between two trash bins with cut branches covering it. The three-month-old infant was found in good condition and was subsequently transported to Agia Kyriaki Children’s Hospital for medical examinations. Reports indicate that the baby’s health is not a cause for concern.
