The footage captures the unbelievable reaction of the two youths who, after stealing from the home, casually returned to their car. When asked why they steal, they responded: ‘We have kids, bro.’ Residents of Aulida complain that Roma frequently target their homes for theft. As reported by MEGA, law enforcement is insufficient, and when authorities do arrest the Roma, they are often released shortly afterward, only to return and commit more crimes. ‘We are truly outraged. We face daily thefts, burglaries, and break-ins. There’s no proper policing, and even when they are arrested, the next day they’re back out stealing. They enter our homes at all hours of the day. We fear leaving our homes because we don’t know if we’ll find them broken into. It’s a daily occurrence,’ lamented a local resident in an interview with MEGA.
