Athens Stock Exchange Opens with a 0.30% Drop – Turnover at €15.97 Million

A minor decline is noted in prices at the start of today’s session (May 30, 2025) at the Athens Stock Exchange. The General Index of the Athens Stock Exchange stands at 1,853.63 units, showing a decrease of 0.30%. The value of transactions amounts to €15.97 million. The high-capitalization index records a drop of 0.47%, while the medium-capitalization index strengthens by 0.35%. Among the high-capitalization shares, the largest increase is seen in Lamda (+1.24%), OLPP (+0.88%), Elvalhalcor (+0.84%), and Viohalco (+0.69%). Conversely, the sharpest declines are recorded by Alpha Bank (-1.93%), Jumbo (-1.92%), and Piraeus Bank (-0.66%). Overall, 39 stocks are rising, 35 are falling, and 16 remain stable.
