Among individual stocks, Space Hellas shares lead with a rise of 5.34%, followed by FAIS Participations with 4.52%. On the downside, MIG shares drop by -3.07% and ELIN by -2.75%. European exchanges also opened higher today, with investors betting on a de-escalation of trade tensions ahead of U.S.-China talks this weekend. The pan-European STOXX 600 index is up 0.40%. London’s FTSE 100 moves positively at +0.44%, Frankfurt’s DAX at +0.55%, France’s CAC 40 at +0.51%, Milan’s FTSE MIB at +0.63%, and Spain’s IBEX 35 at +0.26%. The STOXX 600 has strengthened nearly 13.7% since the slump in early April amid hopes that the U.S. will reach agreements to avoid a devastating trade war.
