Stocks moved higher in today’s (03.07.2025) session at the Athens Stock Exchange, with the market breaking above the 1,900-point level and closing at 15-year highs. Shares of Coca-Cola HBC, Piraeus Bank, Eurobank, and Cyprus Bank led the gains among large-cap stocks. Specifically, the General Price Index closed at 1,915.24 points, rising by 1.12%. This marks the highest closing level since April 21, 2010 (1,936.43 points). Year-to-date, the index has gained 30.32%, while total market capitalization has increased by €25.7 billion. Trading volume reached €250.336 million, with 49.065 million shares exchanged. The large-cap index rose 1.20%, and the mid-cap index gained 0.40%. Among large-cap stocks, Coca-Cola HBC (+3.56%), Cyprus Bank (+2.87%), Piraeus Bank (+2.87%), Eurobank (+2.36%), Viohalco (+1.96%), and National Bank (+1.80%) recorded the strongest gains. Conversely, OTE (-3.78%), OPAP (-1.46%), Titan Cement (-0.92%), and EYDAP (-0.86%) saw the sharpest declines. OTE shares are now trading ex-dividend at €0.7044 per share. Eurobank and Alpha Bank recorded the highest trading volumes at 20.287 million and 6.973 million shares, respectively. Eurobank also led in transaction value with €61.53 million, followed by National Bank with €41.64 million. Out of all stocks, 70 ended higher, 39 declined, and 16 remained unchanged. Muzakis (K) (+9.26%) and Frigoglass (+7.81%) posted the largest gains, while Mathios Pyromachos (-6.52%) and Attikes Ekdoseis (-4.04%) suffered the biggest losses.
