Athens Stock Exchange: Close with a rise of 1.31% – At 100.89m euros the turnover

Rise recorded their prices at the closing of today’s Athens meeting (20.11.2024), with the market reacting after yesterday’s strong fall and in total after five falling meetings during which the main stock index recorded losses of 4.49%. The stock exchange’s General Index closed at 1,384.60 units, rising 1.31%, while intra-sessionly recorded a higher price at 1,389.19 units (+1.64%). The value of the transactions was EUR 100,89 million, while 19,748,478 shares were traded. The high capitalization index rose to 1.42%, while the mid-capitalization index was reinforced to 1.0%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Titan (+4,415), Piraeus (+2.69%), Aegean (+2.22%), Autohellas (+2.20%) and OTE (+2.19%). Instead, only Elvalhalcor’s share (-0.12%) fell slightly. The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus by moving 4.568,332 and 3,391,041 shares, respectively. The largest transaction value was the National with 12.79m euros and Piraeus with 12.22m euros. 78 shares were moved upwards, 19 jumpers and remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Pairis +3.44% and Girakian +4.74%.
