A stabilisation picture was presented by the market at the closing of today’s (28.11.2024) Athens meeting, while during the transactions it moved with minor changes, without a clear direction. The General Price Index closed at 1,403.83 units, marking an imperceptible rise of 0.01%. Intra-sessionly recorded a higher value at 1,410.41 units (+0.48%) and a lower value at 1,400.40 units (-0.23%). The value of the transactions skyrocketed to EUR 1.73 billion, as the TERNA Energy Deal packages passed. The agreement of GEK TERNA for the sale of 67% of TERNA Energy to Masdar by the United Arab Emirates was officially concluded and packages of 83,357,830 pieces worth 1,667 billion euros were passed through the Stock Exchange. The high capitalisation index fell at 0.21%, while the mid-capitalization index was reinforced at 0.30%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Motor Oil shares (+2.51%), PPA (+1.79%), AIA (+1.34%) and Titan (+1.30%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded in Lamda Development (-1.81%), Eurobank (1.28%), PPC (-1.19%) and Aegean (-0.97%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Terna Energy and Alpha Bank by moving 83,487,937 and 3,646,876 shares, respectively. The biggest transaction value was Terna Energy with 1.67 billion euros and Piraeus with 6.80m euros. 64 shares were moved upwards, 36 jumpers and 18 remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Alumyl +5.18% and Attica Bank +5.00%. The largest fall was recorded by the shares: Leventeris(p) -25.29% and Bioter -4.76%.
