At least 12 people have died from explosions in Baghdad

at least 12 people lose their lives and another 40 injured, according to police and medical sources.
One explosion was due to a car parked in a parking space a short distance from the shopping centre and the second in another car rigged with explosives which drove a suicide bomber, said one officer of the iraqi police.
A source close to the ministry of Internal affairs of Iraq stated that the double bomb attack was committed shortly before midnight (local time and cet). The shops in this shopping center was still open for the markets on the Weekend and in view of the Ade al Άντχα, the muslim feast of the sacrifice. The mall, which is located across the street from a ministry, there are also cinemas.
The news agency Άμακ, instrument of propaganda of τζιχαντιστικής organisation Islamic State (ICK), reported that two suicide bombers-kamikaze στοχοθέτησαν “a gathering of shia” in the Street, Palestine. In the last few months the organization has assumed the responsibility for most of attacks in Baghdad.
The most gory was committed in July in the district of Καράντα, with a truck rigged with huge quantity of explosives, when they were killed 324 people. More recently, the 6th of September, seven people were killed in an attack in the same district.
Despite the defeats it has suffered, the jihadist organization continues to commit deadly attacks, mostly targeting the shiite community, whose members constitute the majority of Iraqis. The cdc considers shias heretics.
