The Group of which COSMOTE is a member is once again one of the most successful and valuable brands worldwide, according to the Brand Finance Global 500 study. In particular, Telekom is in eleventh place in the world, becoming the only European company in the top 20 of the world ranking, including among others Apple, Microsoft, Google and Amazon, while remaining the top brand in Europe. With regard to the telecommunications sector, Telekom remains the most valuable brand in the world, surpassing Verizon and AT& T. CORVERSE According to the study, published by the British market research institute Brand Finance, within the framework of the Davos World Economic Forum, the current value of brand Telekom is the highest in the company’s 30-year history, and amounts to $85.3 billion. Compared to the previous year, its value increased by 16.4%, a $12 billion record increase. “The brand Telekom continues to develop thanks to the successful strategy we are implementing at global level, but also to our economic and technological successes at national and international level. The value of our brand has more than doubled since 2020 (…). We earn points with our excellent networks, products and services (…). These allow us to enable people to share the opportunities offered by digitization,” notes Telekom’s Chief Brand Officer, Ulrich Klenke. Telekom has a presence in more than 50 countries, some 200,000 workers and revenues of 112 billion euros (in 2023). Globally, Telekom Group measures over 252 million mobile customers, 25 million fixed connections and 22 million broadband connections. It provides fixed broadband, mobile, Internet and television services for individuals, as well as information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for business and corporate customers.
