Aspropyrgos: Children Injured in Roma Camp Shooting

Three children sustained pellet wounds across their bodies following a shooting incident at a Roma settlement in Aspropyrgos late Saturday night (05/07/2025). According to the children’s parents, who spoke to Star TV, unidentified individuals opened fire near the settlement on Zooodochou Pigi Street. The minors were playing in the yard when they were struck by pellets almost everywhere on their bodies. Disturbing footage shows injuries on their legs and backs, with one pellet narrowly missing a child’s eye. Four suspects arrived in a dark car, exited, and began firing shots from a rifle, hitting both a family vehicle and the nearby children. After the attack, the perpetrators fled immediately, leaving the injured children crying in pain and fear. Police units rushed to the scene followed by ambulances, while authorities have launched a manhunt for the shooters. The parents of the injured children have already filed legal complaints.
