Assault with wood and stones were accepted by the OPKE team in a Roma camp in New Life at the dawn of Sunday (22.9.24). It all began at 02:45 in the morning, when OPKE police officers patrolling New Life Aspropyrgos, went to a house at the camp for disturbance of common peace. Upon arrival at the site, the OPKE team was heavily attacked with wood, stones and other objects. Four police officers were injured in dropping objects and using a flash and chemical impact was removed from the scene. The group that was attacked was strengthened with three OPKE groups and re-approached the house where they arrested 2 Roma involved, a 31-year-old and a 38-year-old. Fluorescents occurred in the service vehicle. Prerogation for the case is conducted by the Aspropyrgos Police Department.
