Aslanidis Confronts Dede on Tempes Tragedy: ‘You’re Misinforming the Public’

A heated confrontation occurred between Paul Aslanidis, the father of a victim of the Tempes tragedy, and Professor Anastasios Dede. During an appearance on the show “Hamogela kai palii!”, Dede discussed the findings related to the Tempes tragedy. However, Aslanidis interrupted, accusing Dede of spreading misinformation. “Mr. Dede, hang up the phone now; you’re misleading people. Your presentation is for the trash,” Aslanidis remarked initially. He further criticized Dede’s conclusions by stating, “You are neither a chemical engineer nor someone who lost a child there, yet you continue to support silicon oils.” Dede defended his stance by citing data from the State General Chemical Laboratory. In response, Aslanidis argued that the institution had tampered with the evidence, questioning why Dede persisted. Aslanidis passionately added, “Don’t you feel a bit ashamed? Our children were burned alive by chemicals, hydrocarbons. I don’t know which decision-making centers are pushing you out now. Someone is using you. You will receive an extrajudicial notice. Gather yourselves. Go back into your hole and never speak again about silicon oils.”
