Artemis Moukoupetros: The Friend Who Gave Him the Firecracker Kissed His Hands

A video has surfaced showing the man allegedly responsible for the firecracker that caused Artemis Moukoupetros to lose two fingers and suffer eye damage. The video, secured by ANT1, shows both men sitting next to each other at a festival where Artemis Moukoupetros was playing clarinet. At one point, his friend kisses his hands. This footage emerged ten days after the incident when the firecracker exploded, severely injuring the renowned musician. Since then, Artemis has been under medical care, having lost two fingers from his right hand and experiencing vision problems. Lawyer Athanasios Kavourinos, representing the friend who gave him the firecracker, spoke about the incident and the allegations against his client. Despite the severe injuries, the lawyer emphasized that his client, Yiannis Alexopoulos, had no intention of harming Artemis Moukoupetros and held him in high regard. According to the lawyer, Alexopoulos did not know the object was a firecracker and had no malicious intent when he handed it over to Artemis. The friend claims he found the firecracker, showed it to Artemis, who then requested it, placed it in his pocket, and lit it a few minutes later.
