A video posted on social media by a childhood friend of Artemis Moukopoulos, the renowned clarinetist injured in a firecracker incident, has sparked new revelations. The phrase ‘Tonight we will make a bang,’ was reportedly uttered in the video before being deleted. This incident occurred early Monday morning during Easter celebrations in Triopotamo, Achaia, around 6:30 AM. The event left the clarinetist severely injured and hospitalized at KAT hospital. According to sources close to Moukopoulos, the individual accused of handing over the firecracker is a long-time friend with whom he shared a 13-year friendship. Despite initial claims, witnesses report that this person appeared uninvolved during the explosion, showing no reaction or acknowledgment. Reports suggest the friend had posted celebratory content involving drinks and fireworks prior to the event but quickly removed it after the incident unfolded. The situation escalated when panic broke out following the explosion, leaving many believing it was gunfire. Fellow musician Sotiris Kouvas played a crucial role in rushing Moukopoulos to the hospital within record time, highlighting his heroic actions amidst chaos.
