Arrests in Agios Panteleimon and Acropolis for Drug Trafficking – Cannabis and Cocaine Seized

Two individuals were arrested in the areas of Agios Panteleimon and Acropolis for drug trafficking, specifically cannabis and cocaine. According to an announcement by EL.AS, on April 19, a 42-year-old foreigner was arrested in Agios Panteleimon after authorities called for a check. In his possession, 46 grams of cocaine were found and seized. The 42-year-old was taken to the competent prosecutor, with charges filed against him by the Department of Pursuit and Detection of Crimes of Agios Panteleimon. Additionally, a 29-year-old was arrested on April 21 in the Acropolis area by Immediate Action police officers, accused of violating laws regarding addictive substances. Specifically, members of the DI.AS team located the 29-year-old near his parked motorcycle in the Acropolis area and requested a check. During the inspection, they found and seized 49 grams of raw cannabis and 22 grams of processed cannabis (chocolate) separated into nylon packages ready for distribution. The suspect, with charges filed against him by the Department of Pursuit and Detection of Crimes of Acropolis, was taken to the competent prosecutor.
