Arrested 53-year-old pharmacist – Operated drug prescriptions which συνταγογραφούσαν doctors affiliated with.The.E.Y.Y. unbeknownst to the insured

He was arrested yesterday, June 15, 2016, by the Directorate of Economic Police, 53-year-old owner of a pharmacy, and at the expense of which was formed of a case – κακουργηματικού character – for infringement of legislation on drugs, adulteration of food, fraud-performed by profession and habit, from which the overall benefit and the damage exceed the 30,000 euros as well as for a false certification by continuing after use and infringement of the law on addictive substances.
In the relevant case file is included and four contemplated doctors, affiliated with the National Organization for the Provision of Health Services (E.The.E.Y.Y.), while investigating the possible involvement of other.
For the case conducted a thorough police investigation, which showed that contracted doctors with the E.The.E.Y.Y., unbeknownst to the insured, used the first.M.K.A. and συνταγογραφούσαν drugs.
Then deliver the recipes in the 53-year-old arrested, who would carry them in the pharmacy, in the Attica region, and was compensated by the E.The.E.Y.Y.
Yesterday, officers of the Directorate of Financial Police, in collaboration with officials of the National Agency for Medicines (E.The.F.) and in the presence of the prosecutor, carried out a research in the pharmacy of the arrest of the two warehouses, for which there was no permission from the E.The.F.
During the surveys were found and seized:
three thousand six hundred ninety-five (3.695) boxes of medicines, of which was missing the movie’s authenticity (including drugs that fall under the tables of drug substances),
forty-eight (48) packs of medicines, which brought the film authenticity, but the disposal is allowed only in pharmacies.The.E.Y.Y and of the hospital,
one thousand two hundred (1.200) medical recipes,
eight (8) individual booklets insured health and
twelve (12) booklets prescriptions of various members.
The total value of the above medicines, on the basis of the current retail selling price and the simultaneous loss of the Public is estimated at least at 46.000 euro.
The investigations of the Directorate of Financial Police, in cooperation with the Body of Inspectors of Health Services and Welfare (P.E.Y.Y.E), E.The.F. and the E.The.E.Y.Y. continue, in order to ascertain the full range of illegal activity of the circuit and to determine the total damage for the State, and investigated the further disposal of medicines.
The arrested was escorted to the competent public Prosecutor court of first instance.
