Scammers are exploiting the name of Greek musician Aris Moukopoulos online to defraud unsuspecting victims. The revelation came directly from Moukopoulos himself, who posted a warning on his social media accounts to alert users about the scam. In an effort to protect his followers, he revealed that fraudsters are impersonating him and falsely claiming to raise funds for his recovery. “In recent days and hours, certain individuals have claimed they are conducting fundraising campaigns in my name, collecting money for my recovery,” Moukopoulos stated in his post dated May 2, 2025. He emphasized that he has not authorized anyone to conduct such activities and urged his fans not to fall victim to these scams.
