The news is grim for Aris Moukopoulos. Following a complication, he has completely lost his sight in his right eye and is set to undergo emergency surgery. According to a report from the ‘Buongiorno’ broadcast, Aris Moukopoulos suffered a retinal detachment, which resulted in the loss of 10% of his remaining vision in his right eye. The clarinetist returned home after being treated at the hospital on May 14, 2025, but experienced issues with his eye, prompting him to visit a private clinic. Doctors informed him that urgent surgery was necessary; however, due to pressure in the eye, it was postponed until Friday morning, May 16, 2025. Surgeons will attempt to restore his vision during this procedure.
