Arionas Kolitsopoulos Wins Bronze Medal at European U23 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship

A remarkable achievement for Greece at the European Under-23 Championships as Arionas Kolitsopoulos secured third place and claimed the bronze medal. Kolitsopoulos defeated Czech wrestler Magomentov 6-4 in the repechage round and then dominated Moldovan Zambitsa 7-2 in the bronze medal match, securing his spot on the podium at the European U23 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Albania. The World Wrestling Federation has hailed Kolitsopoulos as a ‘History Maker,’ and once again he proved his title by excelling in the 72kg category. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, controlling matches from start to finish. In the repechage, he effortlessly overcame Magomentov and continued his dominance in the bronze medal bout against Zambitsa, winning 7-2 and ascending to the winners’ podium once more.
