Less than a day after the shocking video of a violent fight between teenage girls on Evia surfaced, another bloody incident—this time in Argyroupoli—has sparked concern. The altercation broke out late Monday evening (15 June 2026) at Heroes Square in Argyroupoli, a southern Athens suburb. Under still-undetermined circumstances, nine individuals—including minors—engaged in a physical fight involving kicks and punches.
Three of those involved—a pair of 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old—were stabbed. One of the 16-year-olds sustained injuries to the head.
Five people were arrested in connection with the incident and face charges of causing grievous bodily harm. One suspect is also charged with violating Greece’s weapons legislation.
Police are conducting an ongoing investigation to fully clarify the causes and conditions that led to the violent clash.
