Arcadia: 50-Year-Old Arrested for Sending Inappropriate Photo to 13-Year-Old and Threatening Suicide

Authorities in Arcadia have arrested a 50-year-old man following allegations that he sent inappropriate images to a 13-year-old girl via video call, violating her sexual dignity. The incident occurred on July 2, but the suspect managed to flee before being apprehended. He was finally located and brought today (July 5, 2025) before the Public Prosecutor of Trikala for further legal action. According to reports, the man approached the teenager through social media, exchanged messages, and later initiated a video call where he exposed himself. A case has been filed against him for sexual harassment and violating child protection laws. Notably, the same individual reportedly threatened a female taxi driver with a hunting gun two days prior, forcing her to drive him to his desired location. During the ride, he committed indecent acts but she managed to escape the vehicle unaided.
