adopted a federal judge in the state of Maryland, against the second αντιμεταναστευτικού ordinance, which prohibits temporary entry to the U.S. of refugees and nationals of six muslim countries.
The appeal was filed in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland (eastern USA), according to the court document.
According to information from the AFP which transmits the Athenian Agency, the judge Theodore Chuang partially suspended yesterday morning, the force of the decree, targeting especially the measure of the interruption of issue of entry visas for nationals of the six muslim countries.
He estimated that the new ordinance is “implementation, which was planned a long time ago, of the entry ban (in the USA) of the muslims”.
Another federal judge, in Hawaii, suspended on Wednesday the implementation of the decree, signed by Donald Trump, the 6th of March, and that was to enter into force on Monday 16 March.
“This decree was issued with the aim of doing justice to a particular religion” pointed out in his decision, judge Derrick Watson.
The two judges stressed that they based their decisions on the statements made in the past, the Trump and his advisors. The president of the united states had proposed during his election campaign to close the country’s borders to all muslims.
