On 4 April 2025 the opening of his trial at the One-Member Court of Appeal was determined for the large-scale case of his wife’s beating, Sophia Polyzogopoulou. The well-known lawyer, Apostle Lytras will sit on the stand in order to be tried for the offence of dangerous physical harm in the context of domestic violence, which is prosecuted to a degree of misdemeanor.
